    • Lake Nozori

      Lake Nozori is located at the border of Gunma, Nagano, and Niigata prefectures, and is surrounded by mountains reaching over 2,000 meters in height.
      This is a dam lake with a surface elevation of 1,513m, a depth of 25m, and a circumference of 10km.
      The lake belongs to the Shinano River system and flows into the Sea of Japan.
      From early summer to early autumn, the lakeshore is adorned with vibrant colors of daylilies.

    • Chatsubomigoke Park

      In the 1080ml district, there is an iron ore deposit, and mining was carried out using open-air digging until 1966.
      The extensive growth of green moss in the depressions of the open-air bath is rare throughout Japan, and in Honshu, it can only be found at the Chatsubomigoke Park in Nakanojo Town.

      This is a mountain pass located on the border between Sawado and the 1080ml area in Nakanojo Town, Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture.
      Since ancient times, the Kuresaka Pass has played an important role in transportation between Kusatsu Onsen and Sawado Onsen, and people have frequently traveled through it.
      Every year, the Asagi-madara butterflies flutter about at the flower station "Hanagaku no Sato".
